Thanks for all of your support over the years, Purdy Topsoil and Gravel!

We need to grow our PTA! Many of the current PTA members have students in 5th grade and will be moving on after this year. The reality is that without the support of more volunteers, many of the events and programs that make our school such a wonderful and special place could fade away. We are actively looking for parents of younger students to start to get involved in the PTA.
Visit our GiveBacks website to purchase your membership. Learn more in the quick FAQ below (with more details on the Frequently Asked Questions page of the PTA website) and join our next PTA meeting that’s open to the public on Tuesday, December 9th from 7-8 pm. Contact PTA President Ron Cochran at Ronald.ThomasCochran@pm.me or 425-443-1467 with any questions. We hope to see you there!

Each school year, Peninsula Hands On Art provides four unique art projects for students. These projects are taught through films by local artists and
facilitated in the classroom by trained volunteer parent docents (that’s you!). Students receive high-quality materials and specialized lessons, and are guided through each project, resulting in an original piece of art to take home or display at school. Along the way, students gain a deeper understanding of visual arts, culture, and history, and enjoy the rewards of the creative process. Parent volunteers attend a training session for each project, where they engage in a hands-on experience to prepare for their classroom role. Peninsula Hands On Art provides all training materials and art supplies. Our first project of the school year, “Gustav Klimt Birch Trees,” will have its training session on Thursday, September 26th, from 7-9 pm at Swift Water.

At Purdy Elementary, students are at the heart of everything we do! The PTA Fun Run fundraiser is more than a day of fun – it’s a chance for our community to come together and invest in our school to ensure we have the resources our students and staff need to thrive in and out of the classroom. The funds raised will go directly towards events, supplies, and experiences that make learning exciting and impactful. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to achieving our goal. Whether you sponsor a runner, make a one-time gift, or encourage others to give – we appreciate your generosity. There are processing fees – cash and checks also accepted.
